During this time of a pandemic and challenging economy, nothing could be better than taking a deep dive into Paul's letter to the Philippians. In spite of challenging circumstances for both Paul (the author of the letter) and the people of Philippi (the recipients), Paul's counsel is about the importance of joy regardless of circumstances.
Please join us for this virtual talk that is appropriate for both teens and adults. And a big thanks to the Idaho chapter of DiscoveryBound (part of a national youth organization for Christian Scientists) for their sponsorship.
For questions and possible scholarships, please contact Gwenn Maxfield at 208-403-3664 or email her at: g.acnt.mgmt@vahos.org.
When you register, you will be sent a confirmation and two reminder emails. The day before and 1 hour before the session.
The second email will have a handout that is a copy of the PowerPoint slides Madelon uses throughout the presentation. You can print them out just before the talk begins.
There will be a replay available for 30 days after the talk, until May 9th. If you can’t make it on April 10th, or for only part of the 2.5 hr talk, you will be able to access the full talk in the replay as well as get the handout. The replay will also have closed captions which makes it helpful for those with hearing challenges.
