One of the most common internet searches for all things Bible-related is the phrase “biblical overview.”
That’s because folks are looking for a 30,000-ft. view of the Scriptures before they take deep dives into
any of the 39 books of the Old Testament or the 27 books of the New Testament.
The “Old Testament Overview” you’ll be watching was made when I was teaching a live seminar on the book of Isaiah. Before we’d proceeded too far, I realized that attendees had such widely differing levels of understanding of the history of each prophet that they needed a quick, on-the-spot summary. The result is this spontaneously created overview.
