Exodus, Part 1: Liberation from Bondage
Virtual attendance for this Live Bible Study
lead by Madelon Maupin
October 6-9, 2022
Exodus, the second book of the Pentateuch, gets its name from the Greek word for "departure," because its central theme is the departure of the Israelites from Egypt, and it is a continuation from where the Book of Genesis leaves off. It is fundamental for Christian moral teachings.

PLUS you get access to the video recordings of the event for future reference and enjoyment.
You can participate in an amazing Bible Study of Exodus, VIRTUALLY! Just because you are not attending the event at the Cedars Camp in Missouri doesn't mean that you have to miss it.
You should sign up for the LIVE WEBINAR and PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY in the Bible Study. It's the next best thing to be there in person!
And we're announcing something we've never done before - ALL VIRTUAL ATTENDEES WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND TWO ADDITIONAL LIVE EXODUS REVIEW AND STUDY SESSIONS with Madelon!
We're going to host 2 SEPARATE LIVE Q/A SESSIONS with Madelon so that anyone can ask questions that they didn't ask during the event, or questions that they've thought of since the event took place.
This in-depth Bible Study will be Exodus, Part I: Liberation from Bondage and it will focus on chapters 1-19. Exodus continues the mega themes introduced in Genesis. These include, as a small reference example, God's covenant with Abraham, Israel acting as the special community to be God’s witness in the world, and of the promise of deliverance and salvation this implies, and the many near misses when this promise seems so at risk.
The first nineteen chapters of Exodus act as a prologue of the laws and commandments to come, looking back at God’s deliverance of His people from Egyptian slavery.
Note: The last half of Exodus (chapters 20-40) is about how the people respond to this deliverance and God’s expectations for His people. This will all be covered in another Bible study titled Exodus Part II: The Law (chapters 20-40) and will be delivered LIVE in 2023.
Consider asking your friends, family, church members, or especially your Bible study group to also join and study with you.
You will get even more out of this study if you commit to do it with people you know.
